EXTON - Jump start your job search at the PA CareerLink Awareness Day Resource Fair and Open House at PA CareerLink of Chester County! The event is Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025 at PA CareerLink of Chester County, 479 Thomas Jones Way, Suite 500, Exton, PA 19341.

The Employer Panel at 9 a.m. is a workshop where job seekers can understand first-hand from employers what they are looking for in their new hires.

Additional workshops will be offered for both job seekers and employers. Scroll down for the schedule and registration information for each session.

The resource fair, from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., will highlight resources in the community and encourage individuals to take advantage of services geared to helping them join or re-enter the workforce. Partners will discuss available programs. Facility tours will be available.

Stop by LASP’s table at the resource fair from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Get information about record-clearing, unemployment compensation and other civil legal issues.

Free transportation from Coatesville and Spring City is available with advance reservation. Call 610-280-1010 to reserve a spot.

State Rep. Leanne Krueger will host a free Clean Slate Expungement Clinic on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, from 6–8 p.m. at the Brookhaven Municipal Center, 2 Cambridge Road, Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) attorneys will provide information and discuss options for clearing a person’s criminal record. If expungement is not an option, additional resources will be offered.

Participants can bring their case information, including a copy of court records or orders, and must not be in violation, on parole or on probation.

The Coatesville Center for Community Health will host Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) for virtual Clean Slate and Expungement Workshops.

A LASP attorney will present tthe virtual workshops (approximately 1 hour) on the following Thursdays:

  • Sept. 4, 2025 at 11 a.m.

  • Sept. 25 at 4:30 p.m.

  • Oct. 2 at 11 a.m.

  • Oct. 23 at 4:30 p.m.

  • Nov. 6 at 4:30 p.m.

  • Dec. 4 at 4:30 p.m.

The session will help participants learn whether they are eligible to have their criminal records sealed or expunged under Pennsylvania’s Clean Slate law, which expanded in February 2024. LASP attorneys will offer free record screenings and help with completing necessary forms.

Record-clearing helps people improve opportunities for jobs, education, and housing.

If possible, participants should bring a copy of their Pennsylvania criminal record. A completed intake form is also recommended.

Veterans who are unhoused in Chester, Delaware or Montgomery counties, including those who may be facing evictio, are invited to attend.

Service providers will be available to help with eviction prevention, emergency housing assistance, health screenings, food and clothing, legal aid, VA enrollment, supplies, and VA health and mental health care.

HONEY BROOK - LASP and Chester County United Way are hitting the road to bring support directly to neighbors in Honey Brook!

Join us Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the Honey Brook Food Pantry for an outreach focused on mobile home property tax reassessment support. The outreach is from 4-6:30 p.m. at 5064 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, PA 19344 and occurs during the regularly scheduled food distribution.

No appointment necessary!

Legal Aid Golf Classic in Lafayette Hill

LAFAYETTE HILL - This year's premier summer golf event and community social will return Monday, June 23, 2025 to Green Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill, with lunch and registration beginning at 11:30 a.m., and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Green Valley is at 201 W. Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444.

GLENSIDE - Rep. Napoleon Nelson and Congresswoman Madeleine Dean will host an Expungement Clinic on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 12-1:45 p.m. at Congresswoman Dean's Glenside District Office, 115 E. Glenside Ave., Suite 1, Glenside, PA 19038.

Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) will be on hand to provide FREE information about the criminal justice system, explain expungement eligibility requirements, and offer limited on-site application assistance. Rep. Nelson and his staff will provide information on state services.

Virtual Expungement Clinic

The Coatesville Center for Community Health will host LASP for a virtual Clean Slate and Expungement Workshop on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 3-4 p.m.

The session will help participants learn whether they are eligible to have their criminal records sealed or expunged under Pennsylvania’s Clean Slate law, which expanded in February 2024. LASP attorneys will offer free record screenings and help with completing necessary forms.

If possible, participants should bring a copy of their Pennsylvania criminal record. A completed intake form is also recommended.
