GLENSIDE - Rep. Napoleon Nelson and Congresswoman Madeleine Dean will host an Expungement Clinic on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Congresswoman Dean's Glenside District Office, 115 E. Glenside Ave., Suite 1, Glenside, PA 19038.

Some of the case types LASP handles: Bankruptcy, consumer law & debt relief; child custody & dependency; domestic violence / Protection from Abuse orders (PFAs); elder law, expungement, record-sealing and pardons; family law; housing (landlord-tenant, eviction, habitability, public & subsidized housing, rent-to-own); and home ownership (mortgage foreclosure, property tax sales, reverse mortgages, tangled title); public benefits includng Unemployment Compensation, SSI, SSDI, TANF (cash assistance), SNAP (food stamps), Medical Assistance (Medicaid) & more; utility problems; and Veterans benefits & discharge upgrades.

CHESTERBROOK - Veterans and their families are invited to join Rep. Melissa Shusterman at the Wilson Farm Park Pavilion for her Annual Veterans BBQ on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. WEST CHESTER - Join the Coatesville VA Medical Center and Chester County Veterans Affairs Office for VetFest, a free annual Veterans resource festival honoring veterans and their families. The event takes place, rain or shine, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at West Chester University, Sykes Student Union, 110 W. Rosedale Ave., West Chester, PA 19383.

It’s a day of support, resources, community connections, and family fun for veterans, families and community partners. Check your eligibility for veterans benefits and enroll. Bring a friend and help them register for the benefits they’ve earned. Some of the opportunities available include:

• VA enrollment and benefits assistance

• Check VA benefits eligibility

• Veteran community groups

COATESVILLE - Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) will hold monthly veterans legal outreach clinics at the Coatesville VA Medical Center.

• Wednesday, June 10, July 8, Aug. 12, Sept. 9, Oct. 14, Nov. 18, and Dec. 9, 2026. (The dates are the second Wednesday, except for November due to Veterans Day.)

• 9:30-11 a.m.

Veterans may be eligible to receive free legal help with a wide range of civil legal issues, including benefits, housing, expungement, discharge upgrades, public benefits, family law matters employment problems, and more. LASP does not handle criminal cases.

A referral by social worker, clinician or case manager is suggested but not necessary.

The clinics are part of the medical center's Veterans Justice Outreach Program which connects justice-involved veterans with VA health care services.
