The event takes place at the Central Bucks Senior Activity Center, 700 N. Shady Retreat Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.

Stop by Legal Aid of Southeastern PA’s table! In addition to elder law, LASP helps people in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties with civil legal issues such as Protection from Abuse (PFA) orders, family law, housing (evicition, landlord-tenant, foreclosure & more), veterans, record-clearing, public benefits (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP / food stamps), Medicaid, unemployment compensation, and more), consumer debt and bankruptcy, and more.

LASP has local offices in Doylestown and Bristol in Bucks County, as well as Chester City, Media, Norristown, Pottstown and West Chester. Founded in 2001, LASP formed when four longstanding county legal services organizations joined forces.

A LASP attorney will provide information, counseling and advocacy in a variety of civil legal areas such as:

Dates are: Wednesday, Oct. 7, Nov. 4, and Dec. 2, 2026.

The clinic is by appointment only, with no walk-ins permitted. To register, fill out Crozer Library’s Google form: https://bit.ly/CrozerForm.

The clinic will provide advice on criminal record-clearing in Pennsylvania. Attendees must have a criminal record in Bucks, Chester, Delaware or Montgomery counties. LASP cannot assist individuals with pending criminal charges or anyone on supervision for a recent offense.

PHOENIXVILLE - Have a civil legal issue? Meet with a Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) attorney at the Phoenixville Public Library on the first Tuesday of every month.

The free outreach event will be Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2026 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Harrop Room of the Phoenixville Public Library, 183 Second Ave., Phoenixville, PA 19460.

A LASP attorney will provide information, counseling and advocacy in a variety of civil legal areas such as:

  • Expungement, pardons, Social Security, unemployment compensation, public benefits, housing, consumer and bankruptcy, custody and visitation, no-asset divorce, protection from abuse, elder law, appeals, and employment issues.

  • LASP cannot advise on issues of criminal law, including summary offenses.

This program is open to the public. Appointments are first-come, first-served.

OAKS - State Sen. Katie Muth will host a free Veteran Expo on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Hall C of the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Ave., Oaks, PA 19456.

The Veterans Expo is a free event that provides veterans of all ages with the opportunity to connect with dozens of local and statewide veterans’ organizations and service providers to ensure they’re accessing the services and benefits they’ve earned.

PHOENIXVILLE - The Chester County Health Department’s Annual Potassium Iodide (KI) Dispensing Event and Community Resource Fair is Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, at the Phoenixville Area Middle School Gymnasium. Stop by anytime from 12-6 p.m. to pick up free KI tablets for your household or business.

CHESTER City - Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) will hold a free monthly Record-Clearing Clinic the first Wednesday of every month,. Each clinic is from 1-4 p.m. at J. Lewis Crozer Library, 620 Engle St., Chester, PA 19013.

Dates are: Wednesday, Aug. 5, Sept. 2, Oct. 7, Nov. 4, and Dec. 2, 2026.

The clinic is by appointment only, with no walk-ins permitted. To register, fill out Crozer Library’s Google form: https://bit.ly/CrozerForm.

The clinic will provide advice on criminal record-clearing in Pennsylvania. Attendees must have a criminal record in Bucks, Chester, Delaware or Montgomery counties. LASP cannot assist individuals with pending criminal charges or anyone on supervision for a recent offense.

Record-clearing improves people's opportunities for better jobs, education and housing.

PHOENIXVILLE - Have a civil legal issue? Meet with a Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) attorney at the Phoenixville Public Library on the first Tuesday of every month.

The free outreach event will be Tuesday, July 7, Aug. 4, Sept. 1, Oct. 6, Nov. 3 & Dec. 1, 2026 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Harrop Room of the Phoenixville Public Library, 183 Second Ave., Phoenixville, PA 19460.

A LASP attorney will provide information, counseling and advocacy in a variety of civil legal areas such as:

  • Expungement, pardons, Social Security, unemployment compensation, public benefits, housing, consumer and bankruptcy, custody and visitation, no-asset divorce, protection from abuse, elder law, appeals, and employment issues.

  • LASP cannot advise on issues of criminal law, including summary offenses.

This program is open to the public. Appointments are first-come, first-served.

GLENSIDE - Rep. Napoleon Nelson and Congresswoman Madeleine Dean will host an Expungement Clinic on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Congresswoman Dean's Glenside District Office, 115 E. Glenside Ave., Suite 1, Glenside, PA 19038.

This clinic is an opportunity for eligible residents to receive guidance on clearing their criminal records and taking a meaningful step forward. Legal support will be provided by Legal Aid of Southeastern PA, which will be on-site to help participants throughout the process. 

To participate, individuals should bring their case information, including court records or minute orders, and must not be in violation, on parole, or on probation.

NORRISTOWN - Veterans and their families are invited to a free program on discharge upgrades, VA benefits, Veterans Treatment Court and court support. The program, “Courts, Boards, Benefits and Bail,” is Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library, 1700 Markley St., Suite 116, Norristown, PA 19401. Veterans services organizations will be available to assist with VA benefits applications. VA S.A.V.E Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training will be available following the panel discussion.
