(July 31, 2023) Legal Aid of Southeastern PA is committed to providing free civil legal service to people experiencing poverty, including homelessness, and ensuring their constitutional rights are protected. In 2022, LASP began working with multiple community partners to increase access to justice for people experiencing homelessness.
(July 31, 2023) LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP - A new Bucks County partnership aims to prevent evictions and help tenants. The program launched July 27, 2023 in Lower Makefield Township. The Bucks County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee, Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP), and the Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC) are collaborating, with support from the Bucks County Department of Housing and Community Development. Pro bono attorneys are invited to volunteer!
