LASP Virtual CLE for attorneys: Nuts & Bolts of Defending a Debt Collection Case

Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) will host a virtual CLE for attorneys, “Nuts & Bolts of Defending a Debt Collection Case.’

Staff Attorneys Michael Kaliner and Andrew Schreder will present the virtual CLE as part of LASP's new Pro Bono Consumer Debt Relief Program.

  • Gain an overview of PA consumer credit defense practices before the MDJ and Common Pleas Courts, in debt-buyer cases, post-judgment collection, exemptions & bankruptcy remedies.

  • Learn concrete strategies to identify defenses, protect clients, & improve outcomes.

  • Designed for private attorneys & legal services practitioners.
