Clean Slate 3.0 expanded record-sealing eligibility in Pennsylvania starting Feb. 12, 2024

Record-clearing paves the way for improved job opportunities and increased access to education and housing.

Legal Aid of Southeastern PA helps people clear their records in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. The Community Engagement Unit (CEU) may be able to help you with:

  • Clean Slate (limited access to records, or sealing)

  • Expungements

  • Self-help guides on expungement, limited access, and pardons (see below).

Note: LASP is NOT currently assisting clients with pardon applications. See the Pardons section for helpful resources information, including the LASP Pardon Guide.
