Did you lose food purchased with SNAP benefits due to a power outage or other disaster? Apply for Replacement SNAP benefits within 10 days.

If you receive SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance, or food stamps) and you lost food during a power outage, flood, fire, or other disaster or household misfortune, tell your county assistance office right away.
To get replacement SNAP benefits:
You must apply within 10 calendar days of when the disaster occurred.
Contact your local county assistance office (CAO) or the Statewide Customer Service Center at 877-395-8930. (In Philadelphia? Call 215-560-7226.)
Complete the replacement affidavit form (English | Spanish) saying how much food you lost. Forms are also available at your local CAO, at dhs.pa.gov/SNAP.
Upload the completed affidavit form to COMPASS or the myCOMPASS PA mobile app.
The law allows you to receive replacement SNAP benefits for the amount of food you lost, up to one month’s benefits.
