POTTSTOWN - Lisa Whalen started her new position as Pottstown Managing Attorney in December 2021. Lisa joined LASP as a CARES Attorney Fellow in Pottstown in October 2020. Since then, she has practiced in Chester County and, most recently, in LASP’s Regional Housing Unit in Delaware County.

Lisa returned to Pennsylvania after practicing in Arizona for 18 years. Her practice areas included family law and criminal defense. Lisa also served as a Yuma County Superior Court Judge for more than eight years. Her calendar assignments included domestic relations and felony criminal as well as presiding over the Yuma County Mental Health Court Program.  Under Lisa’s leadership, the Yuma County Mental Health Court received the Arizona Supreme Court’s Strategic Agenda Award for Equal Access to Justice in 2015. She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida.  Lisa can be reached at lwhalen@lasp.org.
