The Chester County Prothonotary’s Office is hosting its first Virtual Chester County Pro Bono Name Change Clinic.

The clinic is Thursday, Oct 1, 2026 from 3-5 p.m.

Get free legal help to complete your name change petition. All filing fees, name search fees, fingerprinting and one publication are all waived. The second publication fee will be required.

Open to all Chester County residents 18+ with no prior convictions. Space is limited!
