Funding and Support

LASP is funded with a combination of public and private grants and donations. This includes federal funding from the Legal Services Corp., state money from the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network (PLAN), the Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (IOLTA) program, and PA Department of Human Services, monies from United Way organizations, contributions from private attorneys and bar associations in all four counties, contracts with area agencies on aging and money from private foundations in the region.

In addition, pro bono programs in all four counties are avenues through which private attorneys willing to donate their time advise and represent low-income clients, victims of domestic abuse and the elderly. For more information on volunteering with LASP, please visit lasp.org/pro-bono.

2019-20 Donor Honor Roll

Your financial support helps provide free civil legal services in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties!

Every year, LASP relies on the steadfast support of individuals, law firms, bar associations, bar foundations, government grants & contracts, charitable foundations & trusts, collaborative grants, businesses, corporations, service groups, congregations & more.

In fiscal year 2019-20 (July 1, 2019-June 30, 2020), these contributions made it possible to serve 9,400 people in need of help, benefiting 20,007 clients and families.

Our Donor Honor Roll recognizes individuals & law firms who contributed to LASP during FY2019-20. For a full list of all our generous donors & pro bono volunteers, please see our 2019-20 Annual Report. Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania greatly appreciates all contributions supporting our work.
