GRANTS MANAGER

 

Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania (LASP) is currently looking for a Grants Manager/Compliance Officer

LASP is a legal services program providing free civil legal services to poor people, the elderly and victims of domestic violence residing in Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware Counties in Pennsylvania.  The mission of LASP is to provide quality legal representation to low-income people, to empower them to solve problems without legal representation through legal education and increased access to the courts, and to change community practices and systems that cause or aggravate poverty.  LASP has seven offices in the region and employs 62 full and part-time staff.  Each year it provides legal services to approximately 10,000 residents in the four counties. 

 

Brief Description of Primary Duties of Grants Manager/Compliance Officer:

 

To develop and implement compliance and reporting systems,  monitor contractual and regulatory compliance , and be responsible for complying with contract and grant reporting requirements.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

A bachelor’s degree and/or significant experience in fiscal management, excellent communications skills, high level of technological competence and knowledge of technological resources to automate reporting and compliance functions, commitment to understanding and addressing issues of low-income constituents.      

 

Hours:  full-time with core hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

Salary:  commensurate with training and experience with generous benefits package
